| DRILL TEAM CLINICS |
| The Deer Lakes High School Color Guard will be hosting two clinics for the DLYF Drill Teams. These clinics will be held Thursday July 2nd and Thursday July 9th from 6-8 pm. at the Deer Lakes Middle School Field. These 2 hour clinics will cover equipment basics for both silks and rifles. All drill team members are encouraged to attend. There is no cost for these clinics. |

| CORRECTION TO THE CHEER WELCOME LETTER |
| The Tomahawks were inadvertently left out of the opening statement. The Tomahawks will be participating in the cheer try-out camp July 6-9 from 6 - 8pm at Carp field. Also, Tomahawks will begin practice on Tuesday, July 28 from 6 -8 pm |

| WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING 2009 FOOTBALL REGISTRATION FORMS! |
Did you miss the first two registration dates? Still interested in registering for Football? We are having an open registration Monday, July 6 thru Thursday July 9 from 6-8 pm. in DEER LAKES PARK at Carp Field.
ELIGIBILITY:
Tomahawks 5 - 7 yrs old between 8/1/2001 and 7/31/2004
Bucks 8 - 9 yrs old 9 by 8/1/1999
Braves 10-11 yrs old 11 by 8/1/1997
Chiefs 12-13 yrs old 13 by 8/1/1995
COST:
Registration fees:
$40 - first child
$20 - second child
$10 - each additional child
Volunteer Fund: $150 post-dated check refundable at end of year if all volunteer obligations have been met.
Fundraiser: $30 payable at registration. This cost is for 30-$1 raffle tickets. This year there will be an additional $5/child towards the cheer baskets.
Copy of birth certificate and proof of insurance required.
Football: practice will begin Monday July 13 and will be held Monday thru Friday 6 pm to 8 pm., rain or shine at Carp Field. Shorts, tee shirts and cleats for the first two weeks. Bring plenty of water.
Practice for all DLYF participants begins Monday July 27, at Carp Field
